Freeland, Michigan - Today, SPI Innovations announces its acquisition of Bell Telephone & Data, Inc., a company specializing in the design and implementation of converged voice and data network systems. "Bell Telephone & Data, Inc. will benefit the entire organization by allowing us to increase our footprint and service a larger customer base," said SPI Innovations President and CEO Bill Loiacano, "And it will help SPI Innovations continue its growth as the largest system integrator and value added reseller of information technology north of Detroit."

The new SPI Innovations will be uniquely positioned to take advantage of an extraordinary collection of assets. Bell Telephone & Data, Inc. brings a wealth of expertise on major brands of Telephone and Voice Mail systems such as 3Com, Nortel and Toshiba. The company also holds certifications in 3Com NBX and VCX Telephone System, which will enhance SPI Innovations 3Com position to a Gold Level Telephony and Data Network Partner. The acquisition will also increase SPI Innovations position as a leading integrator of Bogen, Valcom, and Viking Paging and Public Address Systems.

The combined company will have offices in Freeland, Flint and Brighton with more than 55 professional staff members in the area of Information Technology Services. With a broad range of service offerings from Project Management Support to Desk-side Computer Support, SPI Innovations is able to offer clients a single resource to address multiple issues and concerns regarding their technology infrastructure.
